    Megan Nakagawa
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Megan Nakagawa, or Dr. Megan/Dr. N became interested in veterinary medicine as a young girl soon after convincing her parents to let her adopt a blind dog. She grew up in San Jose and attended Leigh High School. She went to undergrad at UC Davis where she majored in Animal Science and competed on the intercollegiate gymnastics team. Next, she attended Oregon State University in Corvallis where she earned her DVM in June 2010. Dr. N joined Arroyo Animal Clinic in September 2010. She has a Heeler/Australian shepherd mix named Miley.

    Suzanne Colbert
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Suzanne Colbert is a 1992 graduate of the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine.  She interned at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura.  Dr. Colbert enjoys all aspects of general practice including Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery and WellCare for puppies, kittens, and has a soft heart for geriatrics.  

    Dr. Colbert has called Gilroy home since 1994 and has practiced locally.  She has two children who are young adults and one daughter still attending Christopher High School.  She has been very active in her children’s schools, supporting choir, band, and drama.  She has previously produced multiple Children’s Plays for South Valley Civic Theater.  She also has been involved with a support group for families of children with special needs.
    Dr. Colbert has a special fondness for wildlife with a special love of raptors and bobcats and has been honored to donate veterinary services to W.E.R.C. in Morgan Hill, a non-profit organization which provides Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation to the South County Area.
