  • Miriam Salas
    Veterinary Assistant

My name is Miriam Salas, one of the veterinary assistants at PetsVet Veterinary Hospital. I've loved animals my whole life: mammals, reptiles, sea animals, you name it. The love and the want to help animals was the driving force to attend the veterinary technician program at Central Coast College. This gave me my experience in the veterinary field, as I worked with a variety of animals for school (including barn animals) and interned at two veterinary clinics. This experience has further improved ever since I've been working at PetsVet for two years. I also love to play sports, be outdoors, and making art work.

  • Isela Avila
    Veterinary Assistant

My name is Isela, I've been working in the field for 4 years. I completed the veterinary assistant program at Gavilan College in 2017 and have enjoyed entering the field of animal care. My cats name is Malu, she is loved and happy. I'm a mom of two and enjoy spending time with my family. My future goal is to accomplish full knowledge and understanding of surgical procedures and anesthesia.

  • Juliet Ernst
    Veterinary Assistant

Hello, my name is Juliet Ernst. I had my fondness of animals since I was a child from collecting bugs outside to hanging out with our family pets. Later in life I started volunteering for both the shelter and the wildlife center just to get closer and help these creatures that I love so much. I ended up being a foster fail to 3 loving dogs (Daisy, Mina and Duncan) and 3 fluffy cats (Nyx, Calypso and Lilith) among some reptiles as well. Working with exotics is a passion of mine which I hope to turn into a career as a vet tech.
